Tech Report Title: Camouflage Images Time: 2010.12.13 9:00 - 10:00

Today I will introduce a very interesting paper about image processing. It's simple but effective.  Moreover, it's very useful for artist and us.

This paper describe a Image Camouflage method. The method is proposed by Hung-Kuo Chu from National Cheng Kung University. It was accepted by ACM Siggraph 2010 ( The Top International Conference in Computer Graphics).

Given us two images, one is to be hidden and the other is the carrier of the hidden image. We want to immerse one image to the other image, such as following image. You may see some big rocks in the picture, and what's more?  If you take more attention of it, you can see 4 animals.

The main idea of this paper is to Foil human's feature search ability and Employ their conjunction search ability. You can see more details from the reference.

I like this paper. It's simple but useful as I said above. Maybe I will implement this paper next if I have time.  I have found some weak of it. I'm glad to discuss with you while you are also interested on it. :-)
